PRE-OPERATION CLEARANCE SERVICES

If you are scheduled for a surgical procedure, a complete assessment of your overall health will be required prior to your having surgery.

A comprehensive pre-operative assessment allows your medico-surgical team to correct operative risk factors before surgery, and anticipate and prevent peri-operative problems.

Speak with your physician about having your Pre-Operation clearance done at the Lifestyle Management Centre. We facilitate complete lab testing, physician consultation and other essential medical procedures all in one convenient location.

LIFESTYLE SPORTS CHECK

Do you know whether your child is physically suited to the sport he or she plays? Does he or she suffer from any health problems that can endanger him or her while playing a sport? Are you putting yourself at risk by playing your favourite sport? Is there a particular sport at which you or your child could excel? The answers to all these questions are easily available. All it takes is an appointment to have a Sports Check done at the Lifestyle Management Centre.

PLAY SPORTS WITH CONFIDENCE

The Lifestyle Sports Check is a sports pre-participation evaluation (or PPE ). It is commonly used in the U.S. to screen high school athletes for possible life-threatening predispositions to activity e.g. heart conditions and unstable neck and spine conditions.

Like many in the modern sporting community, we at the Lifestyle Management Centre believe the value of having a PPE goes beyond this. That is why we designed our Lifestyle Sports Check to:

  • Provide an objective sport-specific profile of athletic fitness
  • Discover health factors that may prohibit, modify or delay participation in a particular sport
  • Identify risks of possible sports injury
  • Identify ways to increase performance
  • Determine optimal performance levels
  • Provide a base for sport-specific conditioning

Conducted by qualified physicians, the Sports Pre-participation Screen includes:
